TOPIC: Your Primary Source

In today's session, you will learn how to effectively locate items (books, articles, films)
using the Discovery Service and Academic Search Complete

Part 1: Google Docs

  • Open the "read-only" Google worksheet
  • Log into you Google account
  • Click on "File" at the top of the page, and select "Make a copy..." so that you can work on the assignment.
  • Click on "blue share button" at the top right of the page and share you document with

Part 2: Follow along as the nice librarian explains how to locate sources in:

  • Discovery Service
  • Academic Search Complete

Part 3: Locate sources as indicated in your Google doc for this activity

  • Follow the instructions on your Google Doc to locate your primary source and two articles and give the requested information for each item.
