Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
The most common and easiest to use genealogy website that provides access to thousands of records to explore all aspects of family history. Available as a free 14-day trial and also inside CCPL branches with a public library card.
Basic Ancestry is available at this time if you are on campus and logged into Eduroam. It allows for regular searches and to see the full image of digitized records. For the most stable, continued access (that you can build on), it is recommended to activate a free trial of the full Ancestry site.
A free genealogy platform provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a great resource to get text records regarding family history.
