CEDSCI is an innovative effort to transform and expand the dissemination of Census content and better serve internal and external customers. CEDSCI provides access to data tables from Census and American Community surveys.
Data extends to 2000 Census (an email from the census dated November 2020 indicates data prior to 2000 is slowly being added).
Use Advanced Search
Start with Topics or Geography
Examples: Geography>Tract>South Carolina>Charleston County
Topics> Employment> Commuting>Occupation, etc.
Filter will allow you to remove or add.
Download to import .csv into spreadsheet.
American Factfinder used to be the easiest way to access the American Community Survey, which offered detailed views of population characteristics in years between the major census (every ten years)
