Research Assistance for Faculty

Our Research & Instruction Services Department can assist faculty in searching for obscure or hard to find information as well as literature reviews.  The library is a great place to work on scholarly publishing pursuits as you have a variety of resources, both human and informational, close at hand.  Room 236 is available for faculty to reserve if you need a more private research space.  For research assistance, please contact the Access & Instruction Desk or schedule a research consultation.

Library Research Consultations for Students

Students may schedule research consultations with a librarian to discuss a research topic, outline a research strategy, obtain assistance in finding resources, learn the use of proper citation style, and avoid plagiarism. Research consultations are scheduled at a time that is convenient for both the researcher and the librarian and are available weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Click here to schedule a research consultation.

Requested materials

Books, media and other material requested from the library can be placed on the faculty hold shelf at the Access & Instruction Desk.  Books can be ordered with a "notify" slip and once the library receives the book, the faculty member will be notified and the book placed on the faculty hold shelf.
