Addlestone 127 is typically arranged classroom-style with rows of tables and chairs facing the front. The front of the room has a large dry-erase surface and a projection screen that lowers from the ceiling as needed.
The typical setup accommodates 24 people seated at the tables. The room can be arranged with additional chairs and tables. If tables are stored around the sides, the room can fit up to 49 people.
Tables in 127 are equipped with power outlets, which must be plugged into the floor outlets. The position of tables and outlets should be considered if power will be needed.
Presenters have the option of using the integrated computer or screen casting from a laptop or mobile device.
The room is equipped with a ceiling-mounted videocamera and microphone, making it possible for audience members and presenters to actively participate in videoconferences. To use the built-in camera and microphone, use the integrated computer rather than a separate device.
Tables in Addlestone 127 each have 2 power outlets. In order to work, the table's electrical cord must be plugged into one of the many available floor outlets.
Library and staff can reserve the Dell laptop cart if computers are needed for instruction.
